Default new plans..

tired of not being able to drive my baby. So im making some cuts in the BIG plan for now and getting her going again. I still want to do everything, but i have to make sacrifices for now. Selling the 4th gen rear and keeping what i have for now. it wasnt howling or anything so i think its ok. Ill replace the axle seals, change the gear lube again, and give it some paint. Fuel pump still needs changed to handle the LT1 ( which im still doing). Im only going to cam it for now and leave it at that. Already torn apart and looks clean as a whistle. May have it professionally checked out though just in case. Whats yalls thoughts on replaceing anything while its apart? Its down to the shortblock ( rotating assembly still fully intact). Its a jasper rebuild of unknown miles however. Compression test if nothing else.. And with keeping the factory 5 speed im going to have to take it easy, which means it will probably grenade shortly after i install it. But ill have fun doing it i guess..

What do you recommend for a undercoat? as in on the bottom. i was thinking truck bed coating for a cheap but semi durable sorta thing, but is there a better option in the same price range? I remember seeing some kinda paint used for rears ,POR15 or something like that?

ill think of something else to post or make myself look like a tard sooner or later.. ill let ya know.

Daddy, it saddens me to see 350 like this.......

Dont know what yer looking to replace but Ive got a set of stock heads (booo, I know) a Perfromer Intake manifold and a Edlebrock 600 carb as well as a cam and matched lifters (less than 5k on cam) thats just taking space in my garage. If you think you need some of it, Im willing to let it go real cheap.

Good Luck on your Plan revision number XXXXX (fill in blanks). You had so many with that car I lost count. Please note the last line in my signature.

Doing good for now. The 7.894 pushrods will be in within the next few days. All I need now is an intake and Ill be ready to bolt her up and throw her back in the engine bay. Then its a matter of all the little things I gotta hook back up. Im a little scared of this new Holley carb, but I may have a motorhead buddy of mine come over to fire it up, break in the cam and time her in for me.

Im gonna stay out of this other petty stuff. IIRC, this has happened before.........

i see it all the time, and think i even asked once.. but whats IIRC?

and its NEVER a bad idea to have someone who knows what they are doing check out your ride before and during and even after the first fireup.
