Hi All

I'm Paul from the UK, i have a 1991 Z28 Automatic Convertible with a shift problem, i have only had the car 3 weeks, two weeks ago i put the auto into 1st for the first time and it was pretty stiff, and since then i have been stuck in 1st.... so the car is unusable at present

I was hoping maybe it was just a cable fault so i ordered one from a UK distributor, he managed to get me one from the US it came yesterday, when i fitted it to the car last night i realised the diameter of the retaining flange was about half an inch too small at the gearbox end, hence it won't click in firmly so it won't work.

i just want it back on the road ASAP, Any help or advise would be appreciated.
