Default need some please

i am working on a 87 camero z28 305 with a carb,
the problem started when we thought the fuel pump quit so we cut a hole in the rear deck and changed the elect pump , not knowing it was a low pressure pump i changed it to a 58lb pump had all kinds of trouble then i realized it had one on the block also so i changed the tank to a low pressure pump , kn i have a bad mis so i changed the carb no luck , i changed all plugs and wires , cap and button , so now i have a code ( TPS ) i did all the test and yes it must be bad m i have voltage from the TPS, could that cause a mis? i also used a vac guage to adjust the carb and didnt have a change by adjusting the 2 screws on bottom of carb plate , so what i am thinking is i might have a bad intake gasket or head gasket , because when the high pressure elect pump was on i had a lot of gas in the old carb enough that it would not crank over i had to remove all the plugs first ,
sorry for the long post , but i dont know were to start now

thanks please help

check all your plugs too, a cracked plug can make you crazy trying to find.
