Hey whats up guys, I'm new here and I have had my camaro for about a 3 yrs. Im 17, but I havent been able to work on the car at all, I live in SD and the camaro is in ND. Some things about the car, its a 1982 Indy Pace car , I know it has the 305 TBI Crossfire Injection( im assuming a throttle body injection style?). For now the top of the engine is taken apart, thats how I bought it, I got it for 1000 the body is mostly primed and sanded ready for paint, the previous owner was in process of rebuild but he couldnt afford because of kids. Anyways I have spending most of my time working on my 300zx that I have and Im in a auto class at the high school. Just wondering if any of you know some good links so I read up on this style of engine. Thanks alot Mike.

 

Hey thats an awesoe deal. The crosfire is a dual throttle body design on a cross ram intake. They are pretty cool in my opinion, but be careful these cars are notorious for catching fire. it would be alot more economical and practical to run an intake and carb. If you wanna keep the car original there are several good sources for parts they were offered on 82 and 83 camaros, also phoenix graphix.com has all the original stickers. Check out thitdgen.org. There are alot of really knowledgable people there as well
