Check the other posts like this one and you will find out it will be a serious pain in the @$$ to do. It can be done, but it will cost a lot of extra money and time to do.

all depends on how you want to doit are you going to use a carb or go fuel injected? youll need adiferent transmision im using a th350 i had to make a driveshaft as well. if you use a carb you can gut most of the wires to the engine it only needs 3 or 4 to make it goid have to look at mine to see what the are 1 is purple thats from the ignition and nutel posistion switch theres acople others red to the starter and ill have to check on the otheres. but that also depends on your states emission controlls as to what you can get rid of i only have the bare minimum to make it go but there are other ways to go about it but they can be a little more costly. if you want fuel injection i think you can use the wire harness and computer from a 305 car. if you go with the th350 trans b&m makes a kit for doing the swap if you use a 700r4 i think theres some wireing to that as well. basicly its gona depend on what way you want to go.

The Best Way To Fix The Fuel Pump Problem Is Just Find An Older Tank And Switch It Out. Use A Standard Fuel Pump. I Tried Regulating, Pumping Through The Tank Pump With An Inline, It Just Don't Work Worth A Crap. If Your Going To Put Headers On It. Do Yourself A Favor And Get Shortys. Full Length Is A Pain In The ****. Sounds Like Your Determined And Thats Just What You Need To Get It Done. Good Luck. Sick
