I found a lt1 out of a 1993 firebird i want to put it in my 89 rs I know it will fit, but will it bolt up to my tranny? The firebird was wrecked and it was given to me by my uncle, so I have all the parts I need, so if you guys could tell me everything I and going to need to do this swap

 

what transmission do you have, and what engine do you currently have in the car?

 

it's stock 305 with 5 speed
