Default Looking for some input

I recently found a brand new 4" fiberglass cowl hood for my '83 online for $150. Obviously, there had to be a catch...and there was. Apparently, when the hood was mounted to be trimmed, it was mounted on a car that had a bent frame, so there is about a quarter inch missing from each side. Just wanted a little input from you guys to see what you think. Will it be a little too obvious, or worth the money I'll be saving?

1/4 inch on each side? Thats really not that bad. However.....if the frame is crooked, so are the cuts on the hood. Im willing to bet that hood wont even bolt on a straight frame without serious gaps. It will be a mess. Pass.......

We carry a 3" cowl hood for the 82-92. Let me know if that's something you might be interested in!
