My drivers side door wont unlcok from the outside when using then key what the hel-heck can i do to make it work

 

Does it turn? possible a metal clip broke and the rod popped out. If it wont turn and you have power door locks the solenoid might be froze.

 

no when i put the key in it doesnt turn at all

 

and ya i do have power locks

 

When you push the button does the solenoid move the lock? I have had to replace solenoids before because customers did not like having to enter through the passenger door......WUSSYS!

 

ya the solanoid moves but i have to press the button about 5 or six times until it unlocks

 

Its that way on my drivers door but only when the panel is on the door. Try pushing the button to unlock while turning the key. If the key still wont turnthen maybe a squirt or WD40 though the latch might loosen it up.

 

i tried wd40 and it didnt work but ill have to try and push the button and turn the key at the same time

 

When all fails then its time to pull the door panel off and check everything from the lock cylynder all the way to the inside handle.
