I have a spare new ".030" piston lying around the garage, and it has a 30 stamped on top. You need to see a pic of it for comparison? And why dammmmmmmmmmmit? Does the engine need to be rebuilt again?

That really wont make it much hotter, if you are running a 350 you almost NEED a larger 3 core radiator, I have a brand new spectre radiator in my camaro, with a new high perf. thermostat, hoses, water pump, engine, coolant, and a big flex fan, and its still running a little warm.

Early blocks could be bored to 4.160 but if its from the later 70's on they are thinner castings and 0.030 is a lot.
But if you are expirience high temps try a high volumn water pump. All it will have is a caviation plate on the vanes but they do work better.
