OK Check the connections like Camaro69 said when you do.

hmm, that odd. my gauge fuse kept blowing as well and i said eff it and installed all aftermarket gauges, and left the fuse out of that spot on the panel. the blow motor still worked on all speeds though

The 90-92 gauge cluster is different from 89 and older. Can't speak for all the wiring in the car though.

Have a quick confirmation question on the 87 Camaro dash setup and wanted to post in an existing thread, figured this one is a good as any of the existing dash threads. After searching and reading a few posts about the cluster in my car (or cars roughly the same year) I've determined that there are plugs on the back of the cluster that plug into their respective recepticles and that is what is causing the left side of the cluster to be hard to get out?

I wanted to get in and fix the left blinker light. Having gotten the glass cover and metal cover off I found about 12 lights or so. I figured hell might as well replace them all while it's open. Took off all screws and the right side wants to come out fine. But the left, it seems like it is sticking on something. I'm a bit timid to start yanking but from what it sounds it may just be having a hard time coming out of its own plug? I've removed all screws and the two little bolts that hold it on and I'm trying to pull the whole setup off to get at all the lights easier.

Thanks!!

Another difference is starting in 1990, the speedometer is electric. Yours is still cable driven, and that's what's hanging up on you. You need to get under the dash and unclip the speedo cable housing from the cluster. It's a flat spring steel tab that you push against the cluster while pulling the cable away.

Yucko

I have a degenerating disk in my spine so it makes it harder for me to do things like that in which I have to bend and get under the dash. But figured that might be the case. The camaro book I got that is supposed to tell me "everything" didn't really tell me about that part. Just told me where to pull the screws off.

Thanks for the info!
