Default IFNL Dashboard Warning Light

I have a '90 V6 3.1 camaro, and everytime i drive the car i get this warning light. its in the top right of the dash. IT says IFNL CHECK. I have no idea what that means. (a little something about my car) Its really shaky when i drive it, and it idles kind of weird. I am just wondering what this warning light means, and if it relates to the car being super shaky.

sure its not a check engine light with some of the letters obscured? can you take a picture? if it is actually the check engine light, it more than likely needs plugs and wires

That is the AIR BAG light. Should come on when you start car for about 6 seconds and then go off if everything is allright with air bag system. If it stays on, something is wrong, and you need to get it checked, you don't want that puppy going off when you are driving cause it will HURT.

The air bag won't accidentally go off on you. When the light is on, it means there is a malfunction with the inflatable restraint (air bag system), and the system is disarmed.
