I have an 85 iroc with a 383 stroker. i am selling the car and a guy offered to buy the motor. How much should i ask for it. It has a holley street dominator intake, holly 600 cfm carb. comp cams camshaft and valvetrain. je flat top pistons, eagle crank, 65cc chamber heads. Pushes out about 400 hp. I am also wondering then if i sell the motor, how much can i get for a parts car in good shape fully intact minus the motor?

sell it as a whole if its in good shape, ive never seen a parts car go for more than 500, and its rare to get that much, but ive seen 3rd gens with 383's in them sell for 4-5000 for good shape cars

 

it could take a long time to sell a car with no motor, i would say u'll get more for a complete car with strokout 350
in canada ask 5000 firm if the car isnt rusting away and down south a little less
