Most Chevy starters interchange as long as they have the right nose for the trans. I've even put a starter off a small block on a big block. Just take it off and go to the parts house and get one like it or better yet get that one rebuilt at a shop to be sure it fits right, sometimes they need shimming because castings vary quite a bit. If you're lucky a rebuilt from a parts house will bolt right in and mesh with the ring gear just fine but sometimes they can be a problem, small block 400's always seem to be a problem with starter fitment and that's where I learned the lesson to get the one off the motor rebuilt rather than replaced.
