My first guess would be rod but its not exactly what I am use to hearing. I have heard a lot of 305 and 2.8 that had rod noise. It seemed to loud but I have heard cracked flywheels make a sound like that. Could just be the fact its a video that is messing with me. I would also smack the Cat and see if its banging around. How is your oil pressure? Recent drop? or increase?
I would say it is a rod bearing cap fallen off, or a rod bearing failed.
Pull out your plugs and manually turn the crank, while in neutral. Have someone hold a screw driver or 'rod' in one plug hole at a time as you rotate. I think you will find that one piston is not moving, or not moving as much. If its a rod bearing gone, you will be able to turn the pulley back and forth and hear the rest of the piston rod hitting the crank. If the cap has come off, the piston is probably not moving.

check to make sure the bolts on the torque convertor are tight, there are three. does the noise change at all, and when does it change (besides rpm). reverse, nuetral, drive, park? how does it sound when cranking? ive encountered loose bolts before and it sounded just like a rod knock, but would go away for a split second when changing gears
thanks for all your feed back on this, i am going to check out the flex plate when the wether gets better. when reving it up the noise goes away and most of the time when i put it into drive the noise goes away. the engine also runs hot. there are no metal shavings in the oil either.
