ok i got a 92 v6 3.1 5spd i bought the car it started fine, then next time i tried to start it took like 10 min, it starts and dies immediatelyit does this like 10 time then if you give it gas it finally starts with a puff of smoke, it gets worse every time i try it, now it wont even idle,check engine light is NOT on also when it did run if you were at lower rpms and hit the gas it would sputter and almost stall. i tjust took off egr and it had two gaskets on it and they looked like they were not sealed right you can see where there was an exhaust leak on it.
also its been running really rich, heres a list of whats been done recently

Fuel filter
IAC sensor
compression test(all at 150psi)
Fuel pressure test(within specs)


ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT

 

sparks and wires. because of the idle stall when ut ouch the gas tells me sparks and wires. did it when if rst got mine. also make sure u take off the distributor cap and make sure theres no rust or currosion.

 

well just puled off cap and its time to replace its worn and some corrosion si ile replace im not convinced that thats the only problem so ant more ideas would be great,

 

dude 90% chance thats the only problems sparks and wires and can be ur 'everything'

 

check the timing all together.
