picked up a 1994 350 code numberis- 14093638 -shows this engine as a 2 or 4 bolt main one piece rear seal-(have nottaken off pan yet---the trans is supposed to come out of a 77 vette and he said its a 700r4---number stamped into it is 17S406758----can someone tell me what this trans is----i want to build a 350 for my 88 rs and im hoping the trans is a 700r4 and if out of a vette it should be built sturdy--any help would be appreciated
