Default Excited and Bummed

Hello everyone.

Ive lurked around on this board for along time waiting for the day I could post about my own Camaro. I have finally saved up the cash to buy which has me excited, but now cannot seem to find the right car (bummed). So I look forward to sharing my new project with you guys in the future.

By the way, the information on this board is great. I hope to be able to contribute down the road.

Thanks

MnM

We actually still have the 67. Its my fathers car. Back a few years back we were going to put some money into the car but being a joint project it ran into some snags. I've never owned my own toy so I am excited to jump into a 4th gen Z28 or SS.

I have hopes one day to restore the 67, but for now I need to have a toy.

Just a question, I keep seeing ls1 camaros with 150K to 160k miles for around $5k. I believe that is too much but am I wrong? I'd rather spend 7 to 8k and get it with only 70 - 100K miles. Ive heard you can get 200,00 miles out of these with the proper care.

Welcome to the Forums!! The average vehicle is suppose to have around 15k put on it a year so.... theoretically a 67 could have as many as 660,000 miles on it if it had been in service all its life. good luck with your search!

hold out for the right car..you dont want regrets later...trust me..and turning a car into something it wasnt to begin with becomes rather pricey. if you want a v8..or if your after a manual..save and hold out for one..ive done the v8 swaps and t56 swap and it wasnt cheap and in the end i sold the cars and took losses before getting exactly what i wanted..the 2011 cyber grey m6
