Sweeet! But I already see a problem. Did you happent to check the hood clearance? I don't think it will close all the way.
But yeah its nice to see some one did not take the common advice and go with a 350/383. I always say why not go with a 400 sb or better yet a 502 (just because a 502 is cheaper than a 572)
How far along have you gotten?

It's all in and running drive line all hooked up I fixed the headlights tonight ( it was the red wire off the starter) The motor is a .030 over 454 we have a .552 .557 cam closed chamber heads 2200 stall converter hooked to a th350. we got a billet specialties serpentine kit I even retained the stock power steering. I put in new floors and sub frame connectors.I have to finish up the exhaust tomorrow and start getting it ready for paint.

I can't wait!
Make sure its masked off and sealed up all around and under the car when its painted or else you'll have over spray on that sweet motor.

Haven't taken the first ride yet. Hopefully this weekend I still have to run new brake lines and change the wheel cylinders and calipers. Gota make sure we can stop just as fastwe have a coupleof sets of reartires on hand for the first burn oopsI mean ride
