Default fuel pump

I have a 92 camaro that was wrecked on the front end....we could get it started by putting gas under the hood...but it wont stay cranked. So we changed the fuel pump and it dosent even kick on. Its brand new. If anyone has any ideas please let us know. We have got 2 92 camaros that are doing the same thing. Both have been wrecked in the front end. By the way...already have checked all the fuses...installed a inline fuel pump on one of the cars and it still wont stay cranked.

What kind of damage? What was done to the motor?Anything knocked loose? Is your timing set correctly, or at least close?

Some cars have sensors that turn off the fuel pump in case of a crash, but I am not sure about 3rd gen Camaros.

Have you check if the front end damage cut a ground wire? Have you tried to crank the engoine over until it gets oil pressure to see if the pump kicks on then?

Check everything, lines...hoses...all the stuff, ensure it is all there and atached. You might need to take it to a shop who can look at it. Whithout seeing it and doing diagnostic checks its hard to tell whats wrong over the internet.
