Default engine differences

my 86 irocz came with the 305 5.0 engine auto. i am looking for an engine now and i found a few. what would i need to do to make a 350 fit in my car? are the motor mounts the same? will the 350 engine mount up to auto tranny? what do i need to do to make the 350 fit period?
thanks
Peter

pretty much goes like this...
step one: remove 305
step two: put in 350...

its fits fine. same mounts, tranny bolts up. depending on what kind of injection you go with, it may require a new harness and ecm.

Like 350 rs said.
Step one:remove 305
step two: insert 350

If your going from a tpi305 to a carb 350, then
Step 3:unplug ecm

i believe youll still need the ecm for the tranny though. It may have its own computer, i dont remember. I have t-5 and didnt have to worry about it. THAT computer is in my head. Why not just stick to the TPI though? And if you are indeed switching it out. How much you want for ALL of it?

i need alot of new sensors and stuff like that and idk if i want to go through all the trouble for it. so the carb would eliminate all of the sensors. ill let you know if i am going to sell the TPI. you have dibbs 350rs.
