well i've been talking to people and someone told me that if i removed the emissions and egr unit from my 89rallysport TBI thati could get 20 extra hp and some extra torque.
which i dont exzactly belive it. because it takes away gas and i know more gas doesn't mean more hp but i've removed the inner lip in the air breather that restrices the air flow and well thats not much of a gain but it did alow alot more flow into the throttle body.

which emissonsare unused gas recerculated back into the throttle body so it doesnt waste as much gas and well i thought i would bring it up and see what everyone alse has to say.

 

The EGR is just going to lower emissions. Not save fuel. But when you start taking stuff off a computer controled car you will start to run into problems. And you are right not to believe in 20 HP.

 

alright and yeah i no i would run into problems wth the ECM and that is no fun at all. lol
been there done that
