convert auto to 5 speed

Default convert auto to 5 speed

what all do i need to convert an aod automatic to a 5 speed in 1985 camaro?

I am not too sure, but i know my 1985 RS automatic was converted by the prev owner to a 5 speed.

I will look into it for you.

You would need a T-5 "world class" transmission from a V8 camaro, V8 bell housing, transmission cross member, drive shaft, clutch, flywheel, pedals, trim bezel, clutch slave cylinder, along with some other small things. It is a major pita to do if you just collect the parts, it isn't too bad however if you have a parts car with everything you need.

agreed 100%. Find yourself a parts car that has the 5 speed and get it. if you dont. might as well not do the swap. Unless you have LOTS of time to wait around.
