Default controll

All my 1992 camaro has is the 3.1L 191 V6 and i am not heavy on the petal. When it rains sometimes i get stuck and cant get anywhere because i justspins out. What is the problem, i got good tires with decent tread. Is it possible they are the kind of tires not made for wet weather?

What do you mean by 'spins out'. Are the tires spinning, or is the car revving without going anywhere? The rear end of Camaro's are generally light anyway, but it could be getting water on the clutch, making it slip, or you could have a lead foot .

To begin with these cars are light in the rear. this is how i "totalled" my 91 rs. i would say that it is due to the non-posi rearend in addition to the weightless ***. get a new torque arm, sway bar, and a posi unit, and your legit.
They started putting Traction Contrls Systems (TCS) in the 1992 Corvettes, that used the cars computer to sense a slip, and depending on the situation it would push the driver's foot off the gas pedal and apply the ( ABS ) brakes for you.
They have this on some fourth gens as well in case you were wondering.
Jus a lil trivia for yall...

like i would be pressing on the gas pedal and my tires will just spin and i will not go anywhere, and its a automatic. That would cost how much. I need a cheap way of doing it. i am about to be 18 and about to have a baby and just got laid off. So a cheap temporary fix or fixes.

I would check for problems in the front end. I don't think that a v-6 would just spin the tires in the rain without help or just a light *** end. Check your front brake system for resistance. How's the steering?

No problems with the steering. Are you saying that the front brakes might be sticking? What would i look at for problems in the front end?

o sorry ya that type of suspension/ driveline upgrade could be up to $1800. i dont know theres a lot that you could do with the front brakes because with discs, they self adjust no?

Learn to go easy on the pedal, feather the gas pedal(not the petal, petals grow on flowers). Learn to let the car take off on idle power. You would have a lot of fun on ice and snow.
