Hi there, I’m new to this forum,
I just purchased an 85 camaro with stock 305, was driving totally fine for the first week or so, until it stalled out a few days ago. I’ve noticed that every time I try and start it now it starts up fine and turns over, but stalls right away & then the choke light comes on. This camaro has a Quadra jet carb. Now from my understanding the alt and choke share the same light ? So I’ve tested the alt which is good. And the battery is brand new. Oil pressure is good. Now I don’t know a whole lot about vehicles so bare with me. Any help or insight is very much appreciated!
