MY CAMARO IS A 1992 RS. NOW I RECENTLY HAD THE STEERING COLUMN REBUILT AND NOW THE SECURITY LIGHT SOMETIMES ACTS UP. LIKE THE CAR WONT TURN ON. BUT WHEN I GIVE IT A FEW MINUTES IT CRANKS RIGHT UP. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO BYPASS THAT CRAP. I HEARD YOU HAVE TO STRIP THE WIRES THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THE IGNITION SWITCH THEN TIE THEM TOGETHER. IS THIS TRUE?

hey my car has the same prblem. i have had the car for about a month now and its only happened like twice. should i do the bypass or not worry about it? Im really just worried about f***ing it up.

 

i would do the bypass it is simple and easy and then it is fix---if u need help let me know
