looking for 300-350 hp n/a, stock heads and valves. but i want to keep my options open in the future for running a 125 shot of nitrous, so im looking into a set of hypereutectic pistons. i can check out of round of the crank at school. if it isnt bad, ill keep the stock crank and leave the bottom of the block alone and just have it bored and deck resurfaced (if needed)

well still the gears would help the most but yeah for nitrous any mods you do now will be amplified if you spray it. Especially a cam, heads, headers/exhaust, etc. There is 3 things you can do for a good powerfull engine, boost(turbo or SC), displacement(v8!!) and RPMs(flow). Having a 350, your going to have one of those. displacement. So what you want to get cheap power is better flow to bring the powerband up, to higher rpms, and in turn increase power. The general rule of thumb is its semi easy to get as much power as the torque your making. So a 350 tpi can make abour 340-350 lb ft, youll be able to make that much power within reason. But with 1000$ your best bet is gona be to find some used L98 heads or some other factory 350 heads from a corvette or something, a better cam and installation kit, and rechip your ecu for the mods, and if you have money left try to find some headers and get a DIY dual exhaust and weld it up. But your still not going to be that well off with the low compression 350. but this is good for boost or nitrous in the future, like you mentioned

If you plan on running the stock tpi setup i would try to find some corvette heads. Some cheap hp Adjustable fuel pressure regulator a good set of headers and to open up the exhaust a liitle more. If you plan on using a older motor and heads you have to ream out the center 4 holes on your intake from straight to an angle. As for a cam i would try this one ( lun-60103 lk) from summit. Subframe connetors umi makes a good set and they are reasonable priced.

im getting a 350 from a truck with a 4 bolt main. i plan on swapping my tpi setup over to it. heres a list of mods already on the tpi that got me a 15.2 @ 92.25:
throttle air foil
high voltage coil
plugs and wires
descreened maf and airbox mods
no muffler

now with the 350, i plan on getting a set of 1 5/8" headers and a y-pipe, replacing the cat with a race muffler, 52mm throttle body, .440 lift cam, all the mods already on the car now, possibly a port polish, and possibly a 2000rpm stall convertor. how much hp and quarter times should i be looking for with the stock 2.73 posi.

also, i know the 305 in there had 19lb injectors, and the 350 should have 22lb. since im modifying, should i get 25lb injectors? i might bore and stroke it sometime in the future.
Everything you listed is not going to make that motor have more Horsepower. You don't have a plan but just the idea of adding parts. Example race muffler??, 25# injectors and no mention of the ECM, .440 lift cam (less then stock 305) etc ets . Go back to thedrawning board before you have a motor that won't run. My opinion,
