Best high mileage motor oil for 1986 z-28
Hello everyone---I'm scouting around for suggestions on motor oil.
It's the 86 Z-28 305 engine. I have about 97,000 on it, given to me from my Dad. Currently I'm suring Castrol GTX high mileage 10w40 (partly synthetic).
I use this & a Wix oil filter in all my vehicles but I'm wondering if there's another motor oil much better I should be using.
Any suggestions? I put less than 3,000 miles on it a year since bringing back from SD.
