I know sneaky was primarily looking for tires. But when he brought up the Weldstars, it made me remember this:

I'll have to check I dont know what I have on them right now. I'll post them tomorrow. I'm putting the edelbrock preformer intake, accel distributor, b&m kickdown cable, and the new carb gasket i just got to free some heat from the carb. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-9266/

Also got some new 3inch headers. So im trying to find 3inch ypipe.

You connect the distributor to the left side of the carb vacuum correct? why do you do this? thanks.

Hears the headers I got. They look great who knows how long they will look that way tho. Welds seem like they could of been nicer. But you get what you pay for. Overall im happy with the just hope they will go on without and clearance trouble. 3 inch collectors. I'm thinking about getting the hooker y pipe with the 3inch inlet 2.5inch outlet. Which also bypasses the cat.

you would be better off getting reducers from the heads going into a 2.5 inch pipe, then merging into a 3 inch single pipe. if you can get someone to pass it without a cat, thats cool. if not, run a pipe through the cat. i did that with my blazer. passes visual, and i dont need emissions

this is the y-pipe I want to get it bypasses the cat. 3inlet/2.5 outlet.

The headers came with 2.5 reducers though if need be.
But that y pipe looks to go straight up and the headers look to be more of a slant \ .
Anything to share with that? Are these headers not compatible?

yea, it may not work. says theyre designed to work with hooker headers, idk what brand your headers are. anf for $250, you can have a shop custom make a header back exhaust and weld it all together for you. i think the header companies design them that way you can only use their y-pipe with their headers
