I have a 85 Camaro 2.8 mpi V6, it had a 4 speed auto box but I lost overdrive. Does anybody know what box I can get as a replacement. I think mine is a 700 r4.

Does the same box fit a V8 or do they have different casings.

Getting the box rebuilt over here in Scotland is not cheap, it cost more than ordering a new one from the states.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
