Default Anyone need trunk latch pulldown help?

I learned some stuff today on the latch pull downs. Wondering if anyone has or is having gear problems. I have some solutions to share. Im going to try and post a short article on disassembly, repair and reassembly if I can get some free time. You guys have helped me out on some stuff and Id like to give back a little.

Thanks!!!

Just go to the TOP Down Solution www.top-downsolutions.com .You can down load their Hatch Motor info about repairs and all the the parts on the site to do the repair. I used this info and parts to repair my Hatch Pull Down.

Okay, mine works kinda. When the covering to the motor is off, it works as long as you push down on it a very little bit all the way down...but with the covering back on it only works sometimes. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "covering"? The interior panel?
