I want to get rid of the B & M Slap Shifter from the car I just bought, planning on going back to stock. I found a couple on Ebay, just wondering if all auto shifters are the same or if I need to look for something specific based on my car ('85 IROC, 305 TPI)? Here are two links:

Also, I was looking at getting a new shifter bezzle, some say overdrive and some don't. I guess it doesn't matter much, but does the 4 speed trans have overdrive?

 

82-84 used a different auto (th200c), but 85-92 should all be the same.

 

Yes the 700r4 is an overdrive transmission, 4th gear is the overdrive gear. Those shifters will work. Some bezels say overdrive, some don't on the bottom.
