AC Delete?

could anyone tell me what all has to be done to fully delete my AC?

What i know for sure is that i have no freon in the system, and it doesn't work anyways so why not make some extra room.

If you plan on keeping the car go for the A/C delete. However; any resale value is going to take a hit without the A/C.

yeah i plan on keeping it. its resell has already gone to next to nothing with some of the other things anyways

Just remove the compressor and the dryer and you should be alright.

You will need the A/C delete pulley for your belt system. Also I do not know how it will affect your heat & defrost with the A/C removed.

I see in your sig it says 350 swap, do you have V-belts or is it a serp belt system? If it is a V belt you should be able to just remove it, if not then what blackz87 said is correct.

The heat system will not be affected as long as he leaves the hvac box alone or replaces it with a non a/c one as the compressor is only used in the a/c or defrost positions. And the defrost will work like any other system without a/c......not as good.

well the heater doesnt work either but yes its a serpentine belt so ill have to buy a new one

they make belts that are shorter so that you can bypass the A/C compressor
