hey i was just wounding how difficult it is to drop a 6spd into a 3rd gen because i plan on putting a LS1 in my 92 RS and its a 5spd now witch i was told wont hold up to a LS1 all ive heard about doing the tranny is you got to do a lot of cutting is all the hassle worth it

 

i read some where that its not that hard to do if you got a mig welder and some time cuz you can just use the stock setup just lengten the tranny tunnel,ill see if i can find the how to again and post a link,but its probably easier to get a tremac 5 spd they hold the power but if you want that extra highway gear than you got to work for it,i might do it for fun
