anyone know how hard it would be to convert a automatic camaro to a 6 speed manual using a richmond racing transmission?

as long as the Richmond set up is for a 3.8 and the bell housing iscorrect, I dont know what you consider as hard, but should be fairly simple.

also, depending on your gear reatio of your rearend, I dont think that the 3.8 will make enough power to need a six speed. I changed my gear ratio in my 99 V6 to a 27????? ratio from a 95 Z28, Sometimes it seems I dont even need 5th gear.

if you go 3.73s, the 6speed will be good, i dont know what was in mine, but wasnt stock, redlined in 5th at about 95/100, and it was a 5speed, when i do 80 on highway on a regular basis, i got worse highway milage than around town. so a 6spd would be great if you have 3.73s or 4.10s.
