I just bought a 1992 camaro rs and yes it needs some work. I do have a small steering problem though..when the car is going straigt the steering wheel is crooked??what causes this to happen?? It gets really annoying while driving..

 

Very common, but easy fix. Make sure the tires are properly inflated and of the same size, then just get the wheels aligned at a good shop. The car may even handle much better after the alignment.

 

I agree with pete but if that doesn't work you can always just pull the airbag off the steering wheel (very easy) and make sure the wheel mark is lined up with the one on the stem. Who knows maybe the guy before you was messing around with the column and didn't put the wheel back on properly.
