91 TPI oil pressure plug???

Default 91 TPI oil pressure plug???
I bought a 305 TPI engine/trans from a 91 Firebird for a project. I was about to wire the fuel pump and noticed a plug in the back of the block where I expected to find the oil pressure switch.
Is this correct??? If yes, where is the oil pressure sampled?

The oil pressure switch should be on the drivers side of the block, above the oil filter boss.
