I have a 91 RS with manual windows. The driver window is about half way down and the crank will lower the window but nor raise it, the crank will not rotate in the upward direction at all.
Has anyone had this problem and what can be done to fix it?
I do not care if I ever lower the window again but I must get it back up, any hints?

 

IMO I would take the door panel off and take a look see.

 

I have the panel of and don't see any visible signs of damage or anything obstructing the travel of the controlling arms (can't think of proper name) . The regulator is riveted in and I'm hesitant to cut the rivets till I know more about this.
