Default manual to power windows

Would all I need to buy is the motor and switches? Or would I have to buy a whole door

Door is the same.

The biggest obstacle is the wiring harness and its installation. I've done it and it's a big job. Big PITA that is...

You'll need the window regulators with the motors, relays, wiring harnesses, and switches from a donor car. Then put a plug in the hole on your door panel, or pick up a pair of panels at the same time. Unless you can get a good deal on the parts, and have time to kill, I don't know if it would be worth the effort. The upside to manual windows is, they never burn out.

There is a low cost alternative to have power windows.
Oh, and stay tuned and watch the video that follows this one.

i recently bought a kit from a1 electric to swap my silverado over to power windows. it was relatively simple and both motor/regulators and the wiring harness with the switches was just under 250. took me about 3 hours start to finish.
