Default 88' Engine Swap

Hey guys. I'm new to these forums and just have a quick question for you guys. Right now I have a 1988 convert camaro 5.0L 305, which is a fuel injected crate motor. I'm looking to drop in a 350 carb'd engine. My question to you is do I need to completley rip out the computer? Or is there anyway to set the TBI to support the 350, thanks in advanced =D

you dont have to get rid of the computer, just get a carbed wiring harness, and pull the fuel injected wiring harness out and put the carbed harness in, that way you have no needless wiring in the engine bay.

You can pick up a computer for a carb'ed at a junkyard. I'm not sure what the price will be, although it will vary between different junkyards.
Nor, am I implying that you will need a different computer, just a suggestion so to speak.

Hope this helped!
