Default 88 Camaro floor pan...please help!

Hello everyone , I haven't been on here in years but I'm trying to get my Camaro back on the road. It won't pass inspection due to a rusty floor pan...I don't have an extra $400 at the moment to buy a new one. Is there anyone in eastern PA or west NJ who is parting out a 3rd gen that has a rust-free driver's sde floor pan? Or any ideas on how to get around this problem for inspection until I have some extra cash? Any help would be greatly appreciated...I want my baby back on the road! Thanks!

In Pa the patch must be metal unless the floor is not metal. It depends on how bad it is but if the rot area is not too big you can just pop rivet a pc of sheet metal inplace then under coat the crap out of it.

How big an area are we talking? From an inspection point of view they want to be sure exhaust fumes can not enter the car but your car is a unibody so if the area is large enough the tech could claim structual issue. I have seen 90% of the floor pan covered with an old stop sign. That was a little more then I felt ok with. The seat was bolted to the stop sign.. LOL
