You might wanna check your thottle position sensor. I had the same car with the same problems and that seemed to do the trick for me

Still it sounds like a fuel problem. could be dirty injectors, run a tank of premium fuel with half a quart of tranny fluid in it ( the detergent and anti sludge solvents will clean carbon and junk out of your injectors). If that does not work bring it on.

If it is carburated, and a Q-jet, reset your idle speed, you will have to drill the little cover off to get at the adjuster. Also check how fast your secondary air flaps are opening ( I know thats not the right "term" but it has been a long time since i have touched a q-jet.) If you have 160 bucks laying around, just order a 600 cfm remanufactured edelbrock from JEGS and be done with it.**EDIT** MAF means its Feul injected, but I will leave this hear incase it helps someone else who finds this article on google**EDIT**

it also could be your valve lash, maybe some of your rockers are too loose, but thats the next step once you know for sure your fuel system is good.
