Default 700R4

Does the 700r4 have vacuum modulator..... ?if so what's the precise location thanks in advance....

No it doesn't. It has a throttle valve (TV) which operates the kickdown/shifting function as well as fluid pressure in the trans. The TV cable is attached to the throttle linkage, and accurate adjustment is crucial.

ok well theres a hose under the hood rt side of intake thats runs downward towards manifold then turns into a steel line then runs back along the exhaust ..... it is disconnected and final length put it about at the pan ...... reason for my original question since i lost third gear thought it might have something to do with it ..... but looks like there's just an overhaul in my future

how big is the tube and hose? It may be the air injection to the cat. Also there could be a small line that goes toa heat riser valve thingy (EFE)
