Hello i am rebuilding a 700r4 that burned up the 3-4 clutch pack, the tv cable broke and the owner kept driving it..

anyway i replaced them using the alto power pack, with clearance at about .030

also the 3-4 accumulator bore is scortched in the case.

I called trans-go since im using thier kit, They said to block off the bore by using two pistons with the ribs facing each other, and to make sure i install the sealng rings..

anyone do this? how harsh is the 3-4 shift after this?

should i block the feed hole? if so which hole is it?
