Default 5.7 t.b.i. intake

hey guys, i have a 350 now with the standard 5.0 tbi intake and i was wondering if buying this air intake is worth it and would it even fit? Apparently its an 8-12% hp increase. Thanks. Ps- cars an 89'

wouldnt work even if you did buy it. Not enough room. unless you want to modify it

even so, the way this thing is designed. its ment to go to the left ( passenger side). i have a buddy who has a similar setup, maybe even the same. Its just too long, it would be hitting the strut tower. If it can be angled differently or something then it MAY work.. but its kind of a long shot

Why not just go with an open, 4-barrel style filter. I see this one as being more restrictive by comparison.

oh that looks awesome. what did you do about the L shapped tube that usally connects on the left side of the cleaner and left side valve cover? Can I use a breather?

Yes you can. I put a push in breather in the valve cover, in place of the original air cleaner breather tube.
