Default 350 engine swap

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I have a question for you all. Is it possible to install a 350 from a 94 suburban into an 86 camaro? If so what are the steps I need to take to do so. Also what additional parts would I need to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car already has a blown 383 motor in it.

Sounds right unless the 383 was already the new style engine. If the 383 is 1985 or back 350 you may need to modify the intake to reuse it.

I assume the 383 is not an original TPI setup?

well the intake came off a 350 I previously had in it. The 383 was a new crate engine put in, in 2009. I am so I think it would be the “new style engine” right?

There was a bolt angle change on the intake on the Vortec heads. I was thinking the 94 was Vortec head but I was wrong, its not until 96. I do not know if you crate motor would have the Vortec heads or not.
