hey guys i got a 305 tbi 92 camaro rs. i just got it. i have flowmaster exhaust and a high-flo cat. the car is now probly somewhere close to 200 hp. what are some good mods in order to get it to 300 hp. i have an edelbrock intake and headers i am about to buy, but what else could i do to get that 300 horse. thanks.

 

Yeah, skip the TBI intake, get an Edlebrock Performer Dual Plane intake, and Holley's TBI to 4bbl adapter plate, a bigger throttle body, and some flow matched injectors.

 

300 HP from a 305 TBI, dream on. Not saying it can not be done, but it will never happen with bolt on parts.[sm=chattypair.gif] Also you CAN NOT make horsepower by addition ( adding up the MFG's horsepower for each part). And that looks like what you want to do.[sm=badbadbad.gif]

 

the only way you'll reach your goal is to go internal. bore it .060 over, new flat top pistons to fit the bore, lopey cam, milled and ported heads with bigger valves. then a few external mods like hotter igntion and more air in and out and you will see 300 HP maybe more. Sick
