has anyone tried 3.73s or another low gear set in a tpi car? on another forum i was told it wouldnt be good cause it would take you outta powerband too quickly on a tpi car.. has anyone found anything different?

 

whereis the powerbandin a tpi car? most motors will breath better 4k-6k, so its hard to get out of that band too fast

 

my power band is from 3-5 and it just dies after 5k no power at all..

 

anymore opinions... i wanna get some imput on this so i dont do somethin stupid. it sorta makes sense to me but then again i thought the point of lower gears was to run through the rpms quicker and get to the next gear..
