no the pump will prime but the injectors wont fire and starter wont crank. to check get a screwdriver and jump the starter and see if itll turn on, if not its VATS

well now i know its the VATS!! okay my key reads a 9 on the chart for vats for gm keys it says its 3010 is that 30 ohm's or 3 ohms i have no clut about reading ohms.

 

anything from 2890 to 3150 is a code 9.

 

Vats does not turn the fuel pump off, it turns off the injectors. If the engine fails to start, the PCM turns the pum off.

 

well i try to do ths bypass but secuirty light is still on car still not start.....i am pissed now.
