Default 1989 Camaro question

Well I was looking ata 89' Maro Z28 witha 350/AT. I was wandering is there anything I should look out for on this year model? I dont know to much about 3rd Gens....But anyway itsa fixer uper and something to work on. Planning on makeing it my weekend cruiser and use the V6 as my daily.

For one there was No Z-28s in 1989 Model year, only IROCs. Be careful about the 350 and check the eighth digit of the Vin for a(8) which is for the stock 350 TPI. Unlessyour info is wrongI would take a closer look at this car for the correct year, model and engine type.

woops thats what i ment itsa IROC Z errr lol dont know much bout 3rd gens.[:-] But were there any major issues with that year model?

You are talking about a 18 yr old car. Any issues depend on how it was cared or abused in the past. Since you are talking a fixer upper the major item would be RUST. Good luck.
