I'm working on an 89 and have a 87 I'm trying to get the trunk lock out to put in the 89 I have undone the bolts and took the keeper off but there is a plastic cover on the inside with the cable attached which prevents getting the lock to slide out. Can anyone tell me how to get this plastic piece off with out breaking it.
